If you knew Jenna, you encountered Jesus. She was a fresh breath of air and a blessing no matter where she was… with her family she absolutely adored (and talked about constantly), serving at Hume Lake or exploring God’s world she loved to discover. Jenna lived with both a carefree spirit and a steadiness that daily painted a crystal-clear picture of the deeply rooted confidence she had in her Jesus.
Jenna’s heart was as stunning as she was. She always leaned into the people around her, never seeming to shy away from an opportunity to be present and show someone how valuable they were. Her face would light up when she saw a loved friend, her smile would radiate with joy and she would often clap her hands in excitement.
If you were lucky enough to know Jenna’s hugs, you’ve felt the warm strength of God’s dying love for you. If you heard her infectious laugh, you’ve seen a tiny glimpse of how He delights in you. It was Jenna’s driving passion for people to meet her Jesus and she lived that.
Jenna just seemed to inhale life, through the beautiful moments and crushing challenges. She showed us how to walk through overwhelming unknowns, clinging to Jesus’s hand through her painful journey. Yet, she was never too consumed by her own troubles to miss out on spreading joy and love on someone else.
Please share your stories, your memories, your moments with our beloved Jenna. Let’s celebrate her life, honor her legacy, praise God for her, and never forget the impact she had in our lives.
